Tadpole Nebula
Tadpole Nebula
The cluster of stars in the center is NGC 1893. The radiation of the young, bright stars is carving a hole in the surrounding gas cloud, called IC 410. The tadpoles are actually columns of gas being somewhat protected from erosion by denser knots of gas in their heads.

Taken using an Orion 130mm triplet refractor on a Paramount MyT mount, and with a ZWO ASI2600 Pro Color camera using an OPT quad narrow band filter.
