Comic and Space Game - beetlenaut - 08-03-2023 Are you reading xkcd? If not, you would probably enjoy it! A lot of xkcd's comics are space-related. It looks like a regular comic, but it's a playable space exploration game! Launch the ship from the tiny planet, and get going fast enough to orbit before your engine dies. When your engine recharges, thrust out into the universe. It's enormous! You can literally explore for weeks. (Hint: Most of the messages on the planet called "Origin" are true.) RE: Comic and Space Game - Earth in Space - 10-01-2023 Another astronomy book with lots of good cartoons: Space-Time and Beyond by Bob Toben & Fred Alan Wolf Comics & science? as in, electrons are like improv comedy and the nuclei of atoms are more stodgy. "Positrons could simply be represented as electrons going from the future to the past in a back section of their world lines." (quoted from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One-electron_universe) Same article states there is a similar idea by this guy, (full name appears if one clicks through to his article): "Baron Ernst Carl Gerlach Stueckelberg von Breidenbach zu Breidenstein und Melsbach" That name is funny! I respect it a lot!
